Customer Responsibility

  • Customer should ensure vetting the equipment specification and other relevant details before placing the Order.
  • Customer should ensure safe and secure usage of equipment during rental duration and return of equipment in the same condition at the end of rental duration or return of replacement device.
  • For Equipment return (post completion of lock in period), Customer needs to inform in writing to deinstallation@cjpl.in for exact date of equipment return along with content and serial number of devices , pickup address, to enable CJPL arrange collection accordingly.
  • Customer should ensure complete backup and timely handover of the material at the time of de-installation as and when CJPL team/authorized representative visits for collection of equipment.
  • Customer is responsible for safe and secure storage of packing material at their premises after the delivery and or installation of equipment. Same needs to be returned by Customer to CJPL staff or its associated logistic partner at the time of equipment return. Special service of “Packing Material Clearance” after delivery/installation is available at an extra charges.
  • Customer should ensure installation of equipment at their end. In case of any hardware failure during installation support ticket can be raised with CJPL helpdesk for action.
  • Incase of any delivery onsite through CJPL representative, Customer should ensure reconciliation of equipment with delivery challan and handover the signed challan to CJPL representative.
  • Incase of any delivery through CJPL courier partner, Customer should ensure reconciliation of equipment with delivery challan and informing CJPL at installation@cjpl.in within 1 day of receiving the material for any short-excess quantity/damage to the equipment of any type. Incase of no discrepancy reported within stipulated timelines the same would be implied as deemed to be accepted by customer.
  • Customer is responsible for L1 resolution of hardware/software (OS) related issues. If same is not resolved customer need to raise service complaint for hardware related issue (only) at helpdesk@cjpl.in from authorized email ID with following details
    • User Name
    • Phone Number and Email ID
    • Problem Description
    • Troubleshooting performed to resolve the issue
 
 

CJPL Responsibility

  • CJPL would be responsible for acknowledging the receipt of Customer PO and sharing delivery schedule for nominated contact of customer.
  • CJPL would be responsible for preparing, testing and shipping the equipment as per line items of Customer PO.
  • CJPL would be responsible for safe and secure delivery of equipment at the address mentioned in Customer PO.
  • CJPL would ship the equipment with licensed OS (incase of laptop/Desktop/Workstation/Servers) if agreed explicitly in our quotation and subsequent order. Any OS/software found otherwise should be deleted/reinstalled by customer.
  • CJPL would be responsible for shipping the equipment via road services. Special “Air Lift Services” for urgent delivery are available at an extra charges to be advised post receiving exact address with Pin code.
  • CJPL would be responsible for hardware maintenance of equipment as per standard services scope. Details of the same are available as attached in annexure 1.

In case of breach of any above terms by customer, may results in additional cost as applicable.
